SUMMER IN PONTE DI LEGNO
HIKING AND TREKKING
Our area has numerous trails for both flat walking and high-altitude trekking and via ferrata. These wind within several Natural Parks such as the Adamello Park, the Stelvio National Park and the Adamello Brenta Nature Park. Typical alpine refuges welcome hikers at the foot of the peaks, while ski lifts make it easy to bypass challenging distances.
BIKE
For bike lovers, there are many opportunities: retracing the Alpine passes that have become historic thanks to the Giro d'Italia such as the Gavia and Mortirolo, adrenaline-pumping tracks such as those for downhill biking, or enjoying a simple ride on the Oglio River Ciclovia that crosses the entire Camonica Valley. To allow everyone to enjoy the area, it is also possible to rent pedal-assisted bicycles for the less trained.
GOLF
Pontedilegno Golf Club, one of the highest courses in the entire Alps, is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters in the flat valley of Valbione, at the foot of the Salimmo peak. Also accessible by chairlift from Ponte di Legno, it is a nine-hole course with double starts where guests can experience nature in its purest state.
HORSE RIDING
In Temù Val d'Avio, you can enjoy immersed in nature horseback riding, lessons or educational activities on the equestrian world for degrees and children at Boskiva Ranch & Wood. It is also possible to board your own horse.
CLIMBING
In the Pontedilegno-Tonale District it is possible to practice climbing in every season with natural crags for every level of experience in spring, summer and autumn and in gyms equipped with artificial walls in winter.
RAFTING
The Noce River in Val di Sole, with its rapids reaching up to 5 degrees, provides a unique experience that combines adrenaline, adventure and communion with nature. Reachable by car in 40 min.
